SeniorsPlus April schedule includes budgeting, tech help

LEWISTON –SeniorsPlus has announced its online Education Center class schedule for April, which includes making budgeting and paying down debt fun, and help with tech, including recognizing fraud and scams.
All classes are held over Zoom or telephonically. Classes are free, unless noted.
1 to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, “Budgeting & Paying Down Debt – How to Make it Fun & Easy!” via Zoom, with instructors Kendra Wheeler and Amelia Milligan, of Bangor Savings Bank. Learn ways to make paying off debt and sticking with a budget easier and actually fun, including multiple methods to find which one works best for you; Wheeler will also be available to work with participants 1-on-1 for free over Zoom or the phone after class.
Any time, online video, “AT&T – Cyber Aware Webinar,” with AT&T staff, discusses online fraud and scams. The presentation is perfect for people who are interested in learning statistics, how to recognize scams and what to do to protect themselves while online.
By appointment, “Cyber-Senior Mentors – A Tech Resource,” by phone or online, Cyber-Senior Mentors provide technology training in the form of online webinars and telephone support for older adults. Trained volunteers answer tech questions and help you sign up for online training sessions.
