Naples student inducted into psychology honor society

WORCESTER, Mass. — Assumption College’s Department of Psychology has announced that Lauren Jakobs, of Naples, Maine, has become a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
Jakobs, class of 2022, was inducted into the honor society during the 2020-21 academic year.
“Assumption students inducted into the Psi Chi honor society are chosen for their outstanding academic achievements and a commitment to further exploring and contributing to the field of psychology,” said assistant professor of psychology Karen Lionello-DeNolf, who along with assistant professor of psychology Leamarie Gordon, are advisors of the honor society. “We are honored to induct some of Assumption’s top psychology majors and minors, including Lauren, who has demonstrated a dedication to the core values of the University in pursuit of a life of meaning.”
