Lewiston woody yard debris pickup is April 26-30

LEWISTON — The city’s Department of Public Works will collect woody yard debris the week of April 26-30, the same route and days as waste and recylce collections.
Requirements:
* Quantities are limited to one standard pickup truck load per residence.
* Residents must have all woody yard debris placed curbside no later than Sunday, April 25, with the butt ends facing the streets.
* Once a street has been cleared, the DPW will not return to that street to collect more.
* Curbside collection is restricted to woody yard debris only.
* Items that WILL NOT be collected are tree stumps (regardless of size), tree limbs greater than 12 inches diameter, demolition wood (fencing, decking, wood from construction and demolition projects).
