The Haslett family, of Oxford, were in South Portland recently, just finishing up lunch at Friendly’s, when they looked out the window to see a couple who had a flat tire. No one was stopping to help, so Garrett Haslett, who is an Eagle Scout, went out and helped them change the tire. “He was my hero that day,” says mom, Penny Haslett. “I feel like I raised him right, always thinking of helping people in need.” (Submitted photo)
