The Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland Tri-Town Optimist Club has announced that the March Regional School Unit 16 Student of the Month is Keiralyn Tapley, from Poland Community School, pictured with teacher Drew Robbins. Keiralyn, a sixth-grader, embodies what it means to be a role model, her teachers said. She always strives to do her best on assignments and often goes above and beyond what is asked of her.
