AUBURN –The High Street Food Pantry has ongoing needs that it hopes people in the community can help fill.
The High Street Food Pantry is run by High Street Congregational Church and United Methodist Church of Auburn, and is at 106 Pleasant St.
It is seeking peanut butter, canned vegetables, soup, canned pasta (spaghetti, ravioli, Spaghetti-o’s, etc.) canned meat, canned fruit, dry cereal, baking items (mixes, sugar, flour, etc.), soup, crackers and toilet paper.
Donations may be dropped off at the Auburn United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave.
Supporting this mission helps local people meet their most basic needs, organizers said. The food pantry is open 7 to 9:30 a.m. every Thursday.
