AUGUSTA — Free Fishing License Week is Feb. 13-21, a chance to give everyone a chance to enjoy ice fishing in Maine.
On these days, any person (except those whose license has been suspended or revoked) who registers with the Department of Inland Fish & Wildlife fish without a license. All other laws and regulations apply on these days. Nonresidents and residents may participate, and are required to register online. Those age 15 and under don’t have to register.
