SeniorsPlus names new COO

LEWISTON — Heather Davis has been hired at SeniorsPlus chief operating officer, and Tracy Smith promoted to long term services and supports director, the western Maine designated Area Agency on Aging annnounced.
Davis has been working as an independent contractor with the Maine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in Augusta, as a member of their COVID-19 contact tracing leadership team. Most recently, she was the executive director of the Alaskan AIDS Assistance Association from 2012 to 2019, and before that was executive director of the Healthy Community Coalition of Greater Franklin County in Farmington.
As LTSS director, Smith will be responsible for oversight of care coordination, member services, policy and contract management, and atypical services. Smith most recently held the position of policy and contracts manager for SeniorsPlus. She has been with SeniorsPlus for 20 years, having started as an intern.
Headquartered in Lewiston, SeniorsPlus covers Franklin, Oxford and Androscoggin counties.
