Skowhegan Outdoors planning walk, pine needle tea clinic is Dec. 20

SKOWHEGAN — Skowhegan Outdoors will host a unique walk in Coburn Woods while providing an opportunity to learn how to make pine needle tea. At this program, participants will forage for pine needles along the Coburn Woods trails, learn about the health benefits of pine needle tea, and brew their own tea to enjoy with the group. Coaches will provide foraging expertise as well as tips for making the perfect brew. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 20.
Participants may bring their own drinking vessel, but it is not required. All materials for tea will be provided. Please wear a face mask and bring water and a snack for this program.
