Belgrade Holiday Stroll is a DIY community light show this year

BELGRADE — The Belgrade Holiday Stroll, normally sponsored by the Belgrade Lakes Region Business Group, will be a DIY event this.
Because of the limits on gatherings, the business group isn’t holding the event, which usually takes place in Belgrade Lakes Village.
Instead, the group is encouraging businesses and residents to participate by decorating their buildings, yards and homes to celebrate the holidays.
“Hopefully this will bring some joy and happiness to the children as well as the adults,” said Linda Shultz, of the business group.
The group is encouraging people to walk or drive around town to view the holiday lights.The group will still light the tree on the Village Green this year.
