Some 27 kayaks and canoes hit the water for the first annual Kennebec Paddlethon on Sept. 5. The free event included a guided history tour along the Kennebec River, as well as lunch at Oosoola Park in Norridgewock. It was sponsored by Skowhegan Outdoors and main Street Skowhegan. “We are thrilled with the success of this event. A big congrats to all the marathoner and fun run participants!
