Goddard Road reconstruction in Lewiston will continue into October

LEWISTON — Road construction began this month in August on Goddard Road as part of a complete reconstruction — from the Maine Turnpike Bridge to Atlantis Way — and a “mill and fill” from the Turnpike bridge to River Road, with paving to follow.
Goddard Road, from River Road to Atlantis Way, is closed with detours marked. Motorists should allow for extra time and delays and avoid the area if possible. Local businesses will be open, and construction should wrap up around the first week of October.
