LEWISTON – Students from the Turner Publishing circulation area were among those to graduate from Bates College on May 31.
Bates College graduated 463 students from 37 states and 52 countries. Cumulatively, the class of 2020 performed 80,000 hours of community service, exemplifying Bates’ commitment to community learning and civic action.

Anna Beaudet, who majored in psychology, is the child of Valdor A. Beaudet Jr., of Lewiston, and Celeste C. Beaudet, of Auburn, and is a 2016 graduate of Edward Little High School.
Michal Cwik, who majored in physics, is the child of Wojciech W. Cwik and Iwona Cwik, of Auburn, and is a 2016 graduate of Edward Little High School.

Isabelle Paulus, who majored in psychology, is the child of Jay S. Paulus and Kate B. Paulus, of Bath, and is a 2016 graduate of Morse High School.

Will Bessey, who majored in politics and minored in anthropology, is the child of Daniel R. Bessey and Pamela V. Bessey, of Brunswick, and a 2016 graduate of Brunswick High School.
Kathleen Trapp, who majored in environmental studies and minored in German and theater, is the child of Gregory J. Trapp and Kathleen R. Trapp, of Brunswick, and is a 2016 graduate of Deerfield Academy.
