Free AR Girls Virtual Workshop offered this summer by Maine Math and Science Alliance

AUGUSTA — The Maine Math and Science Alliance is offering a free AR Girls Virtual Workshop this summer, whree participants can use their creativity to produce their own augmented reality experiences to make the community aware of how to reduce waste – like food waste, fashion waste and plastic waste.
In the AR Girls Virtual Workshop, participants will learn to use a cool AR app to overlay graphics, videos, audio, even their own art, onto the real world. They’ll get to playtest their AR experiences with other girls around Maine. And no previous experience is required. Throughout, they will be supported by the experienced team, which includes art educators at Waterfall Arts, Wintergreen Art Center, and Fiddlehead Art and Science Center.
Applications are on a first come, first serve basis.
