LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library’s summer reading program, Imagine Your Story, has started.
For every book or 30 minutes participants read, the library adds one cloud to its Castle in the Clouds. Clouds can also be earned for completing a summer activity. The more clouds that fill the wall this summer, the more the library will donate to the Tri-Town Ministerial Food Cupboard.
To request a summer reading packet through the library’s curbside delivery service, call 207-897-3631. Each packet contains a summer schedule, summer activity sheet and reading log. Those who would like to track their reading online can create an account at treat.beanstack.org. There is also a Beanstack app available for devices. From there, participants can choose a Summer Reading Challenge based on age, and choose to track by books or minutes.
Those who would like to track their reading offline may call the library and report to Brianna, or email her at brush@treat.lib.me.us.
Participants may also return your reading log at the end of the program Aug. 8 by putting it in an envelope and dropping it at the book drop.
All programming this summer will take place online. Check out the Treat Memorial Library Facebook page every Saturday at noon to join in summer activities.
