HEBRON — Robert Spencer of Waterford will be the guest speaker Tuesday, June 23, at Hebron Historical Society to talk on his newest historical novel “Prospects.” This book discussion will follow the 7 p.m. annual meeting,
His novel evolves around the Maine mining scene in the 19th century, with characters attempting to reap the riches of a surrounding town’s gem mining potential.
The event will be held at the town’s fire station meeting hall, 4 Burnham Road. The public is invited, and Refreshments will be available. Face masks and social distancing will be observed.
