Carrabassett Valley Library, state offers online services

CARRABASSETT VALLEY — While the libary is closed because of COVID-19 restrictions, it still has resources and programs available to patrons.
“Story Time with Andie” is on the on the Carrabassett Valley Public Library Facebook page [1] on Thursdays.
There are also a variety of resources for free kids’ ebooks and online story times, found on the Online Story Resources on the Maine State Library’s website, at www.maine.gov/msl/libs/services/childliteracy.htm [2].
Many libraries’ wifi connections are also available 24/7. Area residents can drive up or find a spot outside the library to get a better connection.
Digital Maine Library, available to anyone in Maine, has resources for community members of all ages, including students. There are newspapers, language learning, genealogy, and more, at library.digitalmaine.org.
The Carrabassett Library’s website www.carrabassettvalley.org/public-library [3] and its Facebook page has additional local resources, including ebooks and eaudiobooks or other digital options.
