During this time while most family and friends are confined to their homes, it is now more important than ever that we all stay mentally well and try to be as physically active as possible, said Diane Madden, executive director.
“With the support and help of many wellness providers in western Maine, we are able to bring you a variety of free virtual wellness programs which can be easily accessed using your home computer or smart phone,” she said.
A list of virtual wellness classes and Workshops is available at www.crcofwm.org.There are also opportunities to use your Caring Coupons virtually,” she added.
Ongoing sessions include:
* Monday Morning Meditation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Start your week with a 20-minute guided meditation led by Karen Vasil-Busch. Upcoming meditation themes are “Raise your Voice,” April 28, using the power of our voice we create a healing matrix. * Virtual Yoga & Meditation sessions will be held each week Tuesdays at 2 p.m. Put on some comfy clothes, grab a pillow and a yoga mat (or make your own mat by putting a couple of blankets on the floor) and join Kathryn Gardner of Song Body Soul in South Paris as she leads you through 40 minutes of yoga (at your own pace) followed by 20 minutes of meditation
* Virtual Yoga Warriors will meet at a new time, Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. This is the fun, free, weekly yoga class taught at Posabilities in Norway.
