Customers select two nonprofits for Fast Eddies car wash donation

AUGUSTA — Fast Eddie’s Express Car Wash opened in January 2016 on Western Avenue; the location quickly became a favorite for those wishing to wash away the winter dirt and salt and the summer bugs and pollen off their vehicles. In the fall of 2019, Fast Eddie’s opened its second location on Pleasant Street in Brunswick.
In celebration and appreciation of its patrons, Fast Eddie’s decided to give back to the community that has welcomed them. To do this, they nominated five very deserving organizations for the public to vote on. The two organizations with the most votes would receive $500 each. After a week of voting, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick and the Midcoast Humane Society in Brunswick were crowned the winners.
