AUGUSTA – Taylor Davis, of Augusta, is this year’s Kennebec County recipient of the state legislature’s $1,000 Memorial Scholarship.
She majors in radiologic technology at the Maine College of Health Professionals.
The Maine State Legislature annually recognizes one student from each county currently pursuing or planning to pursue education at a two- or four-year degree granting college or technical school in Maine. Awards are given to Maine resident high school seniors or full or part time postsecondary students accepted to or enrolled in accredited Maine colleges for graduate or undergraduate degrees.
This year’s awards were presented in the Maine State Senate chamber March 5.
