Lisbon groups sponsoring several 2020-21 trips

LISBON — The Sunshine Hill Neighbors and Lisbon Parks and Recreation are planning trip for both 2020 and 2021, including day, multi-day and overseas trips.
The trips are open to anyone of any age, but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Contact the MTM Center, 207-353-0646 or 207-353-2289 for costs and further information, including required deposits on some trips.
There is a one-day Canada sugar shack/meal trip to Lac Megantic, Quebec, on Friday, March 27. The deluxe motor coach trip will include a noon lunch at Cabane a Sucre Megantic that will include entertainment. The trip will also include a stop at Fromage La Chaudiere, which sells cheese, curds, maple products, candy and more.
From May 17 to 23, a seven-day, six-night trip to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in Kentucky will include admission to the site, as well as to Newport Aquarium and BB Riverboats sightseeing for a cruise on the Ohio River, as well as a visit to the Wheeling Artisan Center in West Virginia. Included are 10 meals — six breakfasts and four dinners, including a dinner party with entertainment — as well as hotel accommodations.
There are still some seats available for a September trip to Scotland and Ireland. The 11-day trip includes roundtrip air from Boston and other transportation, and entrace fees to the Edinburgh Castle/city tour; Blair Castle and Highlands; Isle of Skye; Clan Donald Centre; travel through Glencoe; ferry ride to Belfast; the Titanic Belfast; Giant’s Causeway; Glenveagh National Park; Kilronan Castle; Arigna Mining; Cliffs of Moher, and much more. Included are 10 breakfasts and nine dinners, including one with a bagpipes, kilts and Highland dancing and another an Irish style dinner and entertainment. Travel protection is also included in the cost.
In March 2021, an 11-day (four-day land, seven-day cruise) trip is planned to Hawaii. Cost includes a flight to Honolulu, four days in a Waikiki Beach area hotel with excursions to Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Center, with a buffet dinner and luau. There will then be a Norwegians Pride of America cruise, with two days in Maui, a day each in Hilo and Kona and two days in Kauai, as well as the Napali coast.
