Turner Public Library kicks off events for homeschoolers Feb. 27

TURNER — The Turner Public Library will hold a library scavenger hunt from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, for homeschooled students to encourage students to learn where their favorite author sits on the shelf, apply for a library card, and start more adventures through books.
Homeschoolers are invited to join with other homeschooling families and have fun exploring what’s available
Turner Public Library will offer different hands-on, fun activities throughout the year for local home schooling families. Events for homeschooling families are planned for one Thursday of each month. For March and April, TPL has planned a writing workshop to engage students in creative writing. This will be held over two dates –March 19 and April 16, and advance registration is recommended.
There is no cost for these events, and homeschoolers from around the area, including outside of Turner, are welcome.
