TURNER — the School District 52 Adult Learning Center is celebrating its 40th year with an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at the center, 486 Turner Center Road.
From the beginning, the program has been a champion of those who could not take the traditional path to complete their education, officials in the program said. Over the years, it has graduated 1,045 students. “Students who now can find better jobs, support their families and give back to their communities.”
SAD 52 includes Turner, Leeds and Greene.
