Schedule change in Music for Mavis Cabin Fever Coffee House Series

TURNER — Denny Breau will kick off the Music for Mavis 2020 Cabin Fever Coffee House Concert Sunday Series, from 2 to 4 Sunday, Feb. 9. The show will be downstairs under the Turner Library in the Community Room, 98 Mathew’s Way, Route 117. The show was originally scheduled for Jan. 26, but changed because of weather forecast.
The show will be a coffe house-style afternoon. Those attending may bring cookies to share. Tea and coffee will be available.
The Cabin Fever Coffee House Series is hosted by the Music for Mavis committee and friends, as a way to enjoy the winter together. Anyone interested in helping to set up or sweep and put away chairs will be welcomed. Just as with the summer concerts, attendence is free, but the hat will be passed for donations. Suggested donation $10, but any donation is appreciated.
All shows are 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, unless otherwise noted. The rest of the schedule is:
Feb. 23 — Stan Keach & Julie Davenport. Keach is a singer/songwrite and Davenport also sings and plays the bass. This is also a date change from the original schedule.
March 1 — Turners own Kevin Libby, who sings country songs and show tunes with a unique, warm style.
March 15 — The Grown Ups, with Melinda Liberty, Frank Coffin and Ted Hamilton, singing country, rock, blues and folk.
April 5 — Hurry Down Sunshine, with Stan Davis and Brian Kavanah, playing jazz, blues and folk harmonies.
