NORWAY — The Cancer Center of Western Maine is sponsoring “Awaken the Heart,” a SomaSoul Somatic Movement Workshop, free for those affected by cancer, on Friday, Jan. 24.
The workshop will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Caswell Conservancy Center, 42 Main St., in Harrison.
Participants will learn somatic and soul-centered practices to support the healing journey. Through guided meditation, mindful drawing, journaling, sharing in pairs and gentle somatic yoga and dance, they will experience increased relaxation, reduced stress and clear obstructions to the heart’s wisdom and power.
