Androscoggin Historical Society names Giusti administrative assistant

AUBURN — The Androscoggin Historical Society has hired Renee Giusti as administrative assistant, President Curtis Jack recently accounded.
Giusti has experience in sales and customer support at companies in New York and as office manager of Four Star Lighting and Electric in Lowell, Mass. Locally, she has been a pre-registration specialist at St. Mary’s/St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Lewiston and farm stand manager at Springworks Farm in Lisbon.
Giusti earned a bachelor’s degree in English and art history from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. She is especially interested in the history of art, literature, fashion and design, and how these relate to politics, the women’s movement, and society as a whole.
She remarked, “I am thrilled to be here and hope my enthusiasm and passion for history will spread to the youth of Androscoggin County.”
“Renee provides us with a variety of office skills and experience in community outreach,” said Jack. “She has the personality to help the Society meet its several new responsibilities.”
Androscoggin Historical Society maintains the Clarence March Library and Davis-Wagg Museum in the Androscoggin County Building in Auburn. It also provides programming for the Knight House and the West Auburn Schoolhouse. The Society exists to promote the study of the history of the county and its citizens and to preserve the records and artifacts of that history.
