Free snowmobile safety course offered in Rangeley Jan. 11

RANGELEY — Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust will host a free snowmobile safety course from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the trust office, 2424 Main St.
The course, by the Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, will teach how to properly operate and maintain a snowmobile, review laws, rider responsibilities and personal safety, and environmental and landowner ethics.
Participants 13 and younger must be accompanied by by an adult.
