BELGRADE — A chance to get the kids outdoors to have some winter play fun while also learning is being offered in Belgrade and Waterville, Jan. 15 and 16.
The Belgrade Tinkergarden session is 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Community Center for All Seasons, 1 Center Drive.
The Waterville session is 10:30 to 11:20 a.m. North Street Playground, 151 North St.
At Tinkergarten, which is free of charge, families meet outdoors to connect and learn through play. The age range is 8 months through 8 years. Tinkergarten leader Heather Katz will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate and create together. Registration is recommended so that there are enough materials for all of the children.
