USM L-A Senior College Outsiders Club activities planned

LEWISTON — Members of the Outsiders Club of the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston Auburn College have planned a variety of seasonal activities through Senior College, recently concluding a very active summer and fall.
Reine Mynahan and Janet Stenberg have planned hiking and kayaking outings on the trails and bodies of water in Maine. Senior College members have succeeded in getting outdoors to enjoy the beauty Maine has to offer. Along the way, members have benefitted from additional exercise and an opportunity to make new friends.
Members have logged miles at Lewiston’s Thorncrag and Auburn’s Mount Apetite recreational areas as well as carpooling to trails, ponds and rivers in places such as Boothbay, Camden, Norway and Bryant Pond. As the snow begins to accumulate, snowshoes and cross-country skis will be the order of the day.
