Family Code Nights set for Durham, Brunswick, Hallowell

AUGUSTA — The Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance is hold a free Family Code Night at area schools to celebbate Computer Science Education Week.
At Family Code Night, youth ages 5 to 12 and their parents pair up to complete Hour of Code puzzles online. One of the most exciting things about this format is that the children get to teach their parents to code.
Central and Mid-Coast Family Code nights are:
* Durham Community School, Durham, 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 * Coffin Elementary School, Brunswick, 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 * Hall-Dale Elementary School, Hallowell, 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 * Harriet Beecher Stowe School, Brunswick, Wednesday, Dec. 11.
