Wildlife artist Boardman’s work on display at Topsham Public Library

TOPSHAM — The works of North Yarmouth artist Michael Boardman will be exihibited at the Topsham Public Library from Dec. 5 through Jan. 2.
Boardman will also talk about his experiences and work at an artist talk at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12.
Boardman connects his artwork to wildlife science and conservation, and creates it using a combination of field sketches from life and studio work referencing photos he has taken in the wild. The show, “Where the Wild Things Are: Watercolor and Field Sketches of Wildlife Encounters,” will be on display in the Crooker Gallery at the library, 25 Foreside Road,and showcases some of the species and projects he is involved with, including a recent artist residency in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska.
