Norway Light Parade, tree lighting, Santa visit, is Dec. 6

NORWAY — The Norway treel lighting and Fire Department Light Parade will be at 5:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. The parade, which features Santa and Mrs. Claus, will proceed down Beal Street and take a right onto Main Street, then take a left onto Pikes Hill and a right onto Water Street to Butters Memorial Park. The tree-lighting will be at 6 p.m. After the tree lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be escorted back to the Norway Fire Station, where they will visit with children and pose for phtos. The event is free and open to the public.Refreshments will be provided by the Norway Firemen’s Relief Association.
