Leavitt Ski Boosters Cash and Bottle Drive is Dec. 7

TURNER — The Leavitt Area High School Ski Boosters will hold their annual Cash and Bottle Drive from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 7. Those who donate returnable bottles and cash will be eligible to win gift cards from area businesses, including Nezinscot Farm $400 store credit; Sedgley Place $150 gift certificate; Elite Body Essentials $50 gift certificate; Angello’s $50 gift certificate.
The Nordic and Alpine ski teams will collect bottles and donations door-to-door from those who request it. If you won’t be home and want your bottles picked up, contact dustin.williamson@msad52.org. They can also be dropped off at Coach Terry’s Redemption, Be Be’s Bottle Barn or Greenhorn Redemption Center.
Money raised will provide equipment and pay for training for skiers from both teams. Leavitt skiers have been state and conference champions through the years and they have gone on to participate in college athletics.
The drive is sponsored by the nonprofit Leavitt Ski Boosters, which has supported Leavitt skiing for more than 50 years.
