Winthrop Boy Scout Troop 604 taking pie, wreath orders

WINTHROP — Winthrop Boy Scouts Troop 604 is now taking orders for homemade pies using the recipes from cookbook author Marjorie Standish.
Pumpkin pies are $10 and apple pies are $12; the last day to order is Nov. 22.
Balsam fir wreaths assembled in Maine and measuring 24-inches in diameter also are available for $20; they are decorated with a red bow, pine cones and red berries. Wreaths also may be bought from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Audette’s Hardware, 22 Peck Farm Road.
