LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library will host its first Stuffed Animal Slumber Party on Thursday, Nov. 21. It is one of several special events scheduled for November.
Those who would like their stuffed animal friend to join the sleepover may drop them off Tuesday, Nov. 19 through Thursday, Nov. 21. Animal friends may be picked up on Friday, Nov. 22. After the sleepover, check the library’s Facebook page for the Stuffed Animal Slumber Party pictures.

Teen Book Giveaway for the entire month. Those being ages 12 and 19 may fill out the entry form at the circulation desk. Names of winners will be drawn Nov. 30.
The Book Club will discuss “Cold Comfort Farm,” by Stella Gibbons at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. This is the first book in the new humor series, Books Are Funny Like That. Those who would like to participate should let staff know if they would like a copy of the next book up for discussion.
LEGO Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16. The challenge in November will be to create some holiday decorations for the library.
Lost my Stitches, the knit/crochet group, meets 5:30 p.m. Thursdays. Get a head start on holiday gifts or just something that will keep you warm.
Preschool Story Time will be at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday. Each story time features stories, activitie, and a craft to take home.
The library will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 12, in observance of Veteran’ Day. It will also be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, for Thanksgiving. It will be open Saturday, Nov. 30. New books at Treat Memorial Library include :The Water Dancer,” by Ta-Nehisi Coates; “Imaginary Friend,” by Stephen Chbosky; “the Mysterious Benedict Society,” and “The Riddle of Ages,” by Trenton Lee Stewart; “Music for Mister Moon,” by Philip Christian Stead.
