LEWISTON — Bates field hockey captain Grace Fitzgerald, a senior, was recently selected to compete in the 2019 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division III Senior Game, taking place this November in Arizona in conjunction with the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship in Manheim, Pa.
Fitzgerald, of Larchmont, N.Y., is one of 60 seniors nationwide selected to compete in this year’s game, which is tentatively scheduled for a 5 p.m. start on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex following the completion of the NCAA Division III semifinal games.
Bobcat fans will get to see Fitzgerald and her fellow seniors compete in one more home regular season game this season, when Bates hosts Amherst at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.
