AUGUSTA — The Augusta Downtown Alliance is once more hosting a window display contest for merchants, vendors and individuals.
It runs through Halloween night encourages downtown merchants and others from around the area to come up with the most creative displays for the public to vote on.
There will be two first prizes — public votes on both window displays and window paints.For information on how to get involved, email info@augustadowntown.com for spaces available.
There are also several events in the week leading up to the Thursday, Oct. 31, Trunk or Treat on Water Street, which is from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Activities include the Area 51 themed Pub Crawl on Friday, Oct. 25, “Beetlejuice” Movie in the Park and art opening on Saturday, Oct. 26, and a ghost tour hosted by Red Cloak Tours on Sunday, Oct. 27.
