Food donations needed at Auburn’s High Street Food Pantry

AUBURN — The High Street Food Pantry has ongoing needs for the following items — peanut butter, canned vegetables, soup, canned pasta (spaghetti, ravioli, spaghetti-o’s, etc.), canned meats, canned fruit, dry cereal, baking items (mixes, sugar, flour, etc.), soup, crackers, toilet paper. The food pantry 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdsays. It’s at 106 Pleasant St.
The food pantry is sponsored by five local churches and the Good Shepherd Food Bank, manned by local volunteers and open to all residents. Its goal is helping local people meet their most basic needs.
Donations may be dropped off at the Auburn United Methodist Church at 439 Park Ave., or contact the church office at 207-782-3972.
