L-A Rotarians Pints for Polio scheduled for Oct. 24 in Auburn

AUBURN — The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Pints for Polio fundraiser will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at Gritty’s Pub, 68 Main St., Auburn.
The event is open to the public. A number of gift certificates and other items have been donated to the clubs to be raffled off throughout the night or awarded following an opportunity to also Chuck a Duck to End Polio Now.
Gritty’s will donate 50 cents for every pint sold, and Jody Boys will provide the music. T
he event is also supported by Bill and Melinda Gates, matching $2 for every dollar raised.
