A seal’s journey is topic at Dr. Shaw Library Oct. 26 program

MOUNT VERNON — Marine Mammals of Maine will be the guest of the Dr. Shaw Library at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct 26.
In the hour-long family friendly program, those attending will be taken through a seal’s journey from stranding to release, and all of the obstacles in between. Starting with seal basics such as whether it’s normal for them to be out of the water and why you might see a baby on its own, and then dive into when and why seals need our help.
There will also be information on what MoME is, what they do, the animals they care for and more.
The library is at 344 Pond Road. Call 207-293-2502 for more information.
