LEEDS — The Leeds Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fundraising breakfast and raffle from 6:30 to 10 .m. Saturday, Oct. 12.
Raffle tickets will be available at the breakfast; prizes include a trip to school in a fire truck for Leeds Central students, half a bushel of apples, a Carnival glass bowl; a cord of wood and 100 gallons of home heating oil. Winning tickets will be drawn at the end of the breakfast, said Corey Baumann, of the organization’s fundraising committee.
Money raised from the event will be used to purchase firefighters personal protective gear.
