CARRABASSETT VALLEYY — The Carrabassett Valley Public Library annual used book sale and pie and bake sale are set for the Sugarloaf Homecoming Weekend, Saturday, Oct. 12, and Sunday, Oct. 13.
The book sale will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday in the Spruce Room downstairs in the Sugarloaf Base Lodge. Sponsored by the CV Public Library and Sugarloaf Area Christian Ministry, the proceeds are shared among local food pantries and the library.
For an early look at the books, help set up at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11.
The bake sale will be in the library lobby from 9 a.m. Saturday until the pies and baked goods are gone. Bakers are needed. Bring pies and baked goods on Friday or between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Saturday.
Through the month of October, Jessica Beer’s paintings will be exhibited at the library. Fall library hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
