ROME — There will be an art show Wednesday, Sept.18, at the Wooster Hill Home, 277 Wooster Hill Road. The show will run from 1 to 3 p.m. The rain date is Sept. 19.
The Wooster Hill Day Program is a community support program operating from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday. Gentlemen from the surrounding area attend and participate in a variety of community activities, including classes in yoga, art and music. They and have formed a band, which plays at local nursing homes and agencies.
In the workshop and studio, these gentlemen have created crafts and works of art, which will be displayed and available for sale at this art show. The band — “The Birdhouse Sing-a-Long Band”– will be performing during the show.
Please join The Wooster Hill Home for its first annual art show, get a tour of the facility and meet the guys, so they can share their creations with you.
