Bug Maine-ia is at Maine State Library Sept. 10

AUGUSTA — Bug Maine-ia at the Maine State Museum from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10.
The event is Maine’s largest natural science education fair, and celebrates its 17th year this year. Participants may explore the many fascinating ways that bugs affect our lives; bugs as pets, pests, art and pollinators. Exhibits include fossils of bugs from the Ice Age, live aquatic organisms, the art of fly tying and can tarantulas, that can be held in the palm of your hand.
Bug Maine-ia is free and open to the public. The Maine State Museum is at 230 State St.
