Yoga Warriors, Beginner Ukulele on Cancer Resource Center September menu

NORWAY — September means the return of some popular programs to the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine.
Yoga Warriors at Posabilities is back as a a weekly Wednesday activity and monthly sessions of self-reiki and self-reflexology at the cente.
Also, back by popular demand, Beginner Ukulele will be held on Friday, Sept. 27. Contact the center for more information.
Saturday, Sept. 21, is the Wellness Fair, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Norway Town Office, 19 Danforth St. Providers of a variety of modalities such as reiki, reflexology, yoga and more will be availableto provide free sessions for those affected by cancer and caregivers.
The center also offers support groups, rally groups for men, exercise and other activities.
Drop in hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Volunteers are available to provide comfort items such as port protectors, wigs, hats, pillows or find resources. There are also pamphlets and a lending library.
The center is also a place to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, chat with a volunteer or take time for yourself by participating in scheduled programs. Activities such as coloring, knitting and games are available at all times.
