Free back-to-school family health workshop in Belgrade Aug. 19

BELGRADE — There will be a free workshop for families to learn about making the upcoming school year healthy from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at the Belgrade Community Center for All Seasons, 1 Center Drive, Route 27.
Children are welcome to joing in. The workshop will focus on preparing healthy snacks and lunches, fitting in fun fitness, preparing simple, healthy kid-friendly meals, boosting immunity through nutrition.
Led by Heather Katz, certified health coach, elementary school teacher mother of three and owner of Balanced Wellness Within, the event will include raffles for the children, a giveaway for parents and healthy snacks.
