HIRAM — Soldiers Memorial Library, 85 Main St., has announced its programming schedule for the rest of August.
The library’s book Third Thursday book club will read “The Color of Water,” by James McBride.
The library, which is air conditioned, also hosts Scrabble every Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m., and Knotty Knitters every Thursday, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. The library is open from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
