Music for Mavis continues Tuesdays through Sept. 17 in Turner

TURNER — Music for Mavis continues Tuesdays throughout the summer at the Gazebo, Route 117 and Matthews Way in Turner Center.
Upcoming concerts include July 30 — Hangin’ with Hooper, Brad Hooper and Rusty Wiltjer, acoustic, folk, blues; Aug 6 — Mill Town Road Show” a five-piece band playing Americana and country; Aug 13 — Back Woods Road Band, six-piece seasoned, energetic Bluegrass music; Aug. 20 — Kevin Libby & Friends, folk, rock n’ roll; Aug. 27 — Chris Poulson & Friends, folk, rock; Sept. 3; The Cobblestones (Carolyn Costanzi, Michael Plourde, Anthony Simmons and Mark Plourde; guest keyboardist Danielle Tran), acoustic; Sept 10 — Hot Damn, Norm and Deb Pelletier, country to classic rock; Sept 17 — The Only Hope, high school musicians playing music from the 1950s. Those attending should “bring a chair, a blanket and a friend.” There is no admission charge, but the musicians are paid by voluntary donations via hat-passing.
