Better Business Bureau is topic of free Lewiston power lunch July 30

LEWISTON — The LA Metro Chamber will host a free power lunch seminar, “Better Business 101,” from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, in the LA Metro Chamber’s conference room at 415 Lisbon St.
The Better Business Bureau, a nonprofit public service organization that encourages and supports best practices by engaging with, and educating, consumers and businesses, will be the topic, incuding accredidation, standards of trust, business and consumer tips, major scam tactics and its free programs and services.
The program is aimed at both business owners and consumers who are interested in hearing about BBB’s evolution and how it functions as a precautionary resource tool in 2019.
Presenter will be Amy Schram, community relations manager at Better Business Bureau serving eastern Mass., Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont.
