Apollo moon landing topic at Auburn library July 15

AUBURN — The 50th anniversary of the first moon landing will be the topic of discsusion at the Auburn Public Library on Monday, July 15.
Local astronomy enthusiast and former astronomy professor Jon Wallace will speak from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Androscoggin Room at the library, 49 Spring St.
Wallace will talk about the Apollo moon landing and explain to the children what a momentous event it was. The library will have balloon rocket packets to give to all the children attending the program.
